Network Homes receives ‘Outstanding Partner’ award

17 October 2016

Community Voluntary Services for Broxbourne and East Herts’ (CVSBEH) presented Network Homes with the ‘Outstanding Partner’ award at their AGM on Monday 10 October 2016.

Network Homes has been working in partnership with CVSBEH for over 10 years on local community based projects providing them with practical and financial support.  Many of these projects benefit our residents including the creation of a Credit Union and the community car scheme.  Recently, we helped CVSBEH with the funding for a community engagement officer.  The role is managed by CVSBEH and has a specific focus on reaching and engaging our residents and the communities we operate in.

We also provide CVSBEH with premises to deliver their services including Tudor Square Hub, one of their meeting room venues for community hire and in the past, a Furniture Re-use project.

Jackie Trundell, Head of Neighbourhood Services at Network Homes and a CVSBEH Co-opted Board Member, attended the AGM where she was presented with the award. Jackie said, “I’m extremely pleased that Network won the ‘Outstanding Partner’ award.  CVSBEH work with many voluntary organisations in the community and those organisations offer important services to our residents. We value our partnership with CVSBEH and will continue to work on local projects together.”

Ian Richardson, Chief Officer at CVSBEH said, “Network Homes are one of our oldest and greatest partner and is a worthy recipient of this award.”
