Network Homes and Devonshires donate essentials to Hestia for survivors of abuse

18 May 2023

Colleagues from Network Homes and law firm Devonshires have donated clothing and toiletries to survivors of domestic abuse and modern slavery living in safe houses run by charity Hestia.

Network Homes colleagues with donations

Devonshires, which supports us with legal services, has been running a ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ campaign where employees have collected clothing for charity. Their donations add to the contributions made from our employees and includes items such as t-shirts, hoodies, tracksuit bottoms, soap, and deodorant along with many other useful goods.

Hestia is one of the largest providers of domestic abuse refuges in London and South East and the main organisation supporting victims of modern slavery in the capital.

Chris Drabble, CSR partner at Devonshires, said: “We are delighted to be able to support such a great venture which helps some of the most vulnerable in society. The support from employees at Devonshires has been outstanding and I am very proud that the team has pulled together to donate much-needed clothing and toiletries which will hopefully benefit those who need it the most.”

I’m pleased to see colleagues at Network Homes and Devonshires dig deep and generously donate clothing and items that will hopefully prove to be useful to recipients. Hestia does some fantastic work and it’s great to be able to give something back and deliver on our social purpose.
